Ray Reynoldson Award
In 2003 Austral Technologies celebrated its new ownership by taking its existence and some of its knowledge to the world.
Austral Technologies was awarded the honour of WTIA Fabricator of the Year for 2003.
During this same year Austral Technologies presented a paper at the International Surface Engineering Conference at Homebush Bay NSW and the author, Trevor Overton, was awarded the A. Ramsey Moon Award for best published paper 2003.
Astral Technologies also presented a paper at the 2005 Materials & Testing Conference (MaTe '05) in Fremantle WA.
In 2015 Austral Technologies presented a joint paper with Durametal at the MISE conference in Brisbane for the Institute of Materials Engineering Australiasia. Trevor Overton and Steve Bone (Durametal) were both awarded the Ray Reynoldson Award for Best Presentation.
WTIA Fabricator of the Year 2004
In 2004, Austral Technologies was selected from dozens of candidate companies to receive the award for the WTIA Fabricator of the Year
A Ramsay Moon Award
During the 2003 WTIA Surface Engineering International Conference, Austral Technologies presented a paper entitled Surface Engineering in the Power Generation Industry. The paper was well received and Trevor Overton was awarded the A Ramsay Moon Award for Best Published Paper 2003
